On the Matter of Dragons, Physics, and My Nephew's Science Fair

Hello. Todd. Here.

Big week. My nephew did a science fair project on combustion and I have to be honest with you — it gave us several ideas. I cannot say more for legal reasons and also because we haven't written them down yet. But the energy in that gymnasium was tremendous. Second place. We will do better.

"Dragons are confirmed. They were confirmed in 2011. We are simply re-confirming them for a new generation who may not have been born yet when we do release the game."

This week the team also conducted a thorough review of every single horse in gaming history. The research phase will last approximately four years. We are committed to making the definitive horse. Not the best horse. The definitive horse. There is a difference that we will explain in a future GDC talk.

Also: Starfield 2 is not announced. Starfield 1.5 is not announced. Starfield is a game that exists. Good night.
